Explore Wayne County Historic Buildings and Sites on the Wayne Historians Organization Website

Wayne Historians Organization (WHO) now has a page on its website devoted to historic buildings and sites in all of its towns. “Local historians have selected sites for this project based on a variety of criteria.

Some sites may have been chosen based on local interest and not necessarily on rigid historical standards.” Items on the site may be accessed by name, town or category (ex. building, religious, architecture). As more sites are added the list will grow for each town.

You can help the effort to place items on the list for any town. Town historians are chiefly responsible for adding sites. Linda Guest can add sites to the Lyons list as they are suggested to her. Additionally, photographs may be emailed to Linda and she an add them as well to any currents sites on the list. Any
